Northwest Research Institute is a national-level research institution specializing in ecological environment, natural resources and major engineering research in alpine and arid areas in my country. Its main research fields (such asglaciers, frozen soil, deserts, plateau ecology, salt lakes, oil and gas geology and resource and environmental information, etc.) are in a leading position in China. Currently, it has 2 national key laboratories, 1 national data center, 6 key laboratories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 20 provincial key laboratories/engineering centers in Qinghai, Gansu, 6 national-level field observation and research experimental stations, and 19 Chinese Academy of Sciences and research Institution-level field observation and research experimental stations. It will aim at the strategic goals of national development in the 21st century and the international frontiers of subject development, focusing on the northwest region, which accounts for one-third of the country's land area, and target the major strategic decisions on the construction of the national "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the development of the western region. Major scientific and technological tasks facing the region's economic and social development, and carry out basic, strategic, ecological, environmental changes, resource utilization and sustainable development under alpine, arid natural conditions and relatively lagging social and economic development. Forward-looking and comprehensive major basic scientific research, engineering technology development and third-party evaluation provide scientific basis, technical support and decision support for the country to solve major problems in the fields of ecology, environment, resources, agriculture, etc. in the northwest region.
The National Glacier, Frozen Soil and Desert Scientific Data Centerrelies on the Northwest Academy of Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance in June 2019.It is the only national-level scientific data center among the first batch of 20 national data centers to be located in the west. In accordance with the guiding ideology of data realization of "intelligent perception, intelligent cognition, intelligent prediction, and intelligent decision-making" of surface processes in cold and arid regions, the center united 32 joint co-construction units to carry out 3 major plateaus and 3 cross-border rivers covering cold and arid regions. 4 inland river basins, 3 corridors and 4 large basins, 8 deserts, 4 sandy lands, 11 large salt lakes and key linear projects, based on field observations, surveys, experimental experiments, test analysis, numerical simulations, multi-source remote sensing, Projects are pooled and exchanged mirror images, etc. to build a resource pool of characteristic scientific data and related model models such as glaciers, snow cover, frozen soil, deserts, hydrology, salt lakes, ecology, and agriculture in cold and arid areas. Coordinate the construction of network, computing, storage, and cloud environments, and form a comprehensive service platform for scientific data aggregation, sharing, mining, production, preservation, and decision-making. Establish a data engineering system, connect with international scientific data centers and scientific research plans, and build an international support center for scientific data services and applications of glaciers, permafrost and deserts.

(1) Scientific research positions must meet the following conditions:
1. Observe discipline and law, have both ability and political integrity, endure hardship and diligence, be proactive, have a good sense of collective and discipline, and be in good health.
2. Candidates should have postdoctoral or special research assistant experience. Applicants are full-time recruited students and obtain a bachelor's degree in the undergraduate stage, and obtain the corresponding academic degree on time in the postgraduate stage (report with the corresponding academic degree certificate when registering).
3. The foreign language level specified by the training institution should be reached. Have good foreign language listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Be able to use computers skillfully.
4. Have a solid professional foundation and excellent academic performance. Scientific research positions require the first author to publish more than one SCI or EI academic paper (published by Human Geography SSCI).
5. Age: The age should be under 35 years old at the time of registration.
6. Have a certain understanding of scientific research and career development, be interested in natural environment exploration and scientific exploration, be able to endure hardships and work hard, and participate in field inspections and field experiments.
7. The applicant has no husband and wife, direct blood relatives, collateral blood relatives within three generations, or close relatives with the current employees of Northwestern Research Institute. If the above relationship exists between candidates, they cannot be hired at the same time.
(2) Special research assistant positions include postdoctoral and project hiring personnel, and must meet the following conditions:
