The Heihe River Basin Ecological Hydrological Process Integrated Remote Sensing Observation Joint Experiment "(hereinafter referred to as the" Heihe Ecological Hydrological Remote Sensing Experiment ") is a multi-scale integrated observation experiment that will be conducted in the Heihe River Basin from 2012 to 2015, based on the established observation system in the Heihe River Basin and the results of the" Heihe Comprehensive Remote Sensing Joint Experiment "conducted from 2007 to 2009, in collaboration with researchers from multiple disciplines, institutions, and projects. The experiment aims to integrate satellite and aerial remote sensing with ground observations. The goal of the experiment is to significantly enhance the observation capability of watershed ecology and hydrological processes, establish an internationally leading watershed observation system, and improve the application capability of remote sensing in watershed ecological hydrological integrated research and water resource management.
