Hobo pressure water level gauge is used for water level observation, and the acquisition frequency is 30 minutes.

The data set contains the observation data of river water level and velocity at point 3 in the intensive observation of runoff in the middle reaches of Heihe River from June 14, 2012 to December 31, 2013. The observation point is located at Heihe bridge of Lanxin railway in Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The riverbed is sandy gravel and the section is stable. The longitude and latitude of the observation point are n39 ° 2'33.08 ", E100 ° 25'49.42", 1443m, and the river width is 50m.
The data set contains the observation data of river water level and velocity at point 6 in the intensive observation of runoff in the middle reaches of Heihe River from August 10, 2012 to December 31, 2013, in which the water level gauge was lost from April 5 to September 6, 2013. The observation point is located at zhaojiatunzhuang Gaoya National Hydrological Station, Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The riverbed is sandy gravel and the section is stable. The longitude and latitude of the observation point are n39 ° 08'06.35 ", E100 ° 25'58.23", 1420m above sea level and 50m wide.
The data set contains the observation data of river water level and velocity at point 8 in the intensive observation of runoff in the middle reaches of Heihe River from June 17, 2012 to December 31, 2013. The observation point is located at Heihe bridge, Gaotai County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The riverbed is sediment and the section is stable. The longitude and latitude of the observation point are n39 ° 23'22.93 ", n 99 ° 49'37.29", with an altitude of 1347m and a river width of 210m.
