The "Heihe River Integrated Remote Sensing Joint Experiment" is a large-scale remote sensing experiment jointly carried out by the Western Action Plan Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences "Heihe River Basin Remote Sensing Ground Observation Synchronous Experiment and Integrated Simulation Platform Construction" and the National Key Basic Research and Development Plan Project "Land Surface Ecological Environment Elements Active and Passive Remote Sensing Synergetic Reaction Theory and Method" in the Heihe River Basin, the second largest inland river basin in China. The experiment consists of hydrological experiments in cold regions, forest hydrological experiments, hydrological experiments in arid regions, and hydro meteorological experiments; It is divided into four stages: preparation period, preliminary experiment, strengthening experiment, and continuous observation period.
