This data set contains two grid data in img format: ① evi ﹣ annual ﹣ 2000.img; ② evi ﹣ annual ﹣ 2010.img; this data represents the average vegetation index of Central Asia from April to September in 2000 and 2010, which reflects the surface vegetation coverage. Compared with NDVI, evi reduces the impact of background and atmospheric noise. Using mod13a2 data, the vegetation index of Central Asia in every 16 days from April 1, 2000 to September 31, 2010 was obtained through splicing, clipping, projection transformation and other processes, and then the average vegetation index was calculated.

Using the corresponding MODIS data, through the process of splicing and tailoring, the vegetation index of the specified date is obtained respectively, and then the average vegetation index of the corresponding year is calculated.
The acquired data can only be used after sorting and calculation processing. The meteorological observation data and MODIS data in the study area shall be sorted and calculated, including blank data, missing data and quality defects. The problematic data shall be analyzed and processed according to the situation to obtain high-precision data.
