Dongchuan Debris Flow Observation and research station of Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as Dongchuan station) is located in Jiangjiagou watershed in Tongdu Town, Dongchuan District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It is 103'08 'e and 26'14' n, with an altitude of 1320 meters. It covers an area of about 70 mu. It is 20 kilometers away from Tongdu town of Dongchuan District and 200 kilometers away from Kunming city. Jiangjia gully, with an area of 48.6 square kilometers and a length of 13.9 kilometers, is a high-frequency debris flow gully, with an average of 15 outbreaks per year and a maximum of 28 times. It belongs to the Xiaojiang area known as the "Natural Museum of debris flow", and is the best place for debris flow observation, experiment and research in the world. The cross section survey of Jiangjiagou observation section is divided into upper section section measurement, interrupted section section measurement and lower section section section measurement. As an important part of debris flow observation in Jiangjia gully, the section section is of great significance to the study of debris flow occurrence, movement and evolution. Section data can also provide data support for debris flow. This data set is the survey record of debris flow gully section in Jiangjia gully of Yunnan Province from 1999 to 2005.
