This data set is the precipitation observation data of precipitation station in Peijiamaogou watershed from 1960 to 1979. Peijiamaogou watershed, located in Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, is a tributary of Wuding River. Seven rainfall stations including peijiamao, miaocha, heijiadi, junbaijiagou, gaojiadi, Gaojiaya and yangjiadi are set up in the basin. SM1 ordinary rain gauge with diameter of 20cm and dsj2 siphon rain gauge are used for parallel observation. When the self recording rain gauge fails, ordinary rain gauge is used instead. The data include daily precipitation data, precipitation extract data, and the maximum precipitation table of each period (extracted by minutes). Instrument continuous observation, artificial timing observation.
There are SM1 rain gauge with diameter of 20cm and dsj2 siphon self recording rain gauge. SM1 adopts 8:00 and 20:00 two-stage system for annual observation, mainly observing the beginning and ending time of precipitation, and counting the precipitation. When the intermittent time of precipitation is more than 15 min, it is observed as two precipitation before and after the interval. When the intermittent time is less than 15 min, it is regarded as a precipitation observation record. If a precipitation crosses 8:00 and 20:00, it should be measured at 8:00 and 20:00. Dsj2 adopts 24 segment system for flood season observation. In case of failure of self recording rain gauge, the observation data of ordinary rain gauge are supplemented.
In the observation process, when the abnormal value of the self recording rain gauge occurs, the ordinary rain gauge observation value is used for interpolation and verification; during the data entry process, four levels of manual verification are carried out, including tabulation, primary calibration, re calibration and audit, so as to ensure the data quality.
