This data is "Central Asia Science and Technology Information Monitoring Letters (2012-2017)", which collects and collates information on science and technology information technology, policies and other aspects of the five Central Asian countries (including Russia). It mainly includes the information data of science and technology policy, industrial and agricultural development, geography and astronomy science, mineral resources, and information material technology in Central Asia (including Russia). The journal was founded on April 28, 2012 by Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Documentation and Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The editor in chief: Zhang Xiaoyun, published 36 issues in the form of monthly journal. It includes the information collection of science and technology policies, industrial and agricultural development, geography and astronomy, mineral resources, information material technology and other aspects in Central Asia (including Russia), which is displayed in the form of text and pictures.

Data source description

Through a variety of channels to collect information on science and technology policies, industrial and agricultural development, geography, astronomy, mineral resources, information materials and technology in Central Asia (including Russia), select data resources with high value for scientific research and utilization, and through classification and integration, form this data and information express, which will be published on a monthly basis.

Data processing method

In case of attribute data and text data, digital means shall be indicated; in case of spatial data, digital tools and simple processes shall be indicated; in case of data generated by mathematical operation or model, algorithm and model of mathematical operation shall be clarified, and the source of algorithm and model shall be indicated.

Data quality description

Data precision after processing; relevant quality control measures in the process of project data generation and collection, including complete data generation process and methods used.
