This dataset was obtained through field sampling and monitoring of water quality in Wuliangsu Lake. The dataset includes indicators such as total nitrogen, total phosphorus, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, permanganate index, and chemical oxygen demand. It consists of 5 sets of data, with 63 data points per set. The dataset is fully open and shared.

Field sampling was conducted in accordance with the requirements specified in the "Regulation for Water Environmental Monitoring" (SL219-2013). The determination of total nitrogen was conducted with reference to "Water Quality - Determination of Total Nitrogen - Alkaline Potassium Persulfate Digestion - Ultraviolet Spectrophotometric Method" (HJ636-2012). The determination of total phosphorus was conducted with reference to "Water Quality - Determination of Total Phosphorus - Ammonium Molybdate Spectrophotometric Method" (GB11893-89). The determination of ammonia nitrogen was conducted with reference to "Water Quality - Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen - Nessler's Reagent Spectrophotometry" (HJ535-2009). The determination of nitrate nitrogen was conducted with reference to "Water Quality - Determination of Nitrate Nitrogen - Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry (For Trial Implementation)" (HJ/T 346-2007). The determination of the permanganate index was conducted with reference to "Water Quality - Determination of the Permanganate Index" (GB 11892-89). The determination of the chemical oxygen demand was conducted with reference to "Water Quality - Determination of the Chemical Oxygen Demand - Dichromate Method" (HJ 828-2017).
