The high frequency coherent scattering radar is used to monitor the inhomogeneous body and its motion in the polar ionosphere. The main detection parameters include radar echo intensity, ionospheric convection velocity and velocity spectrum broadening. This data set is the high frequency coherent radar data of Zhongshan Station in Antarctica in 2014. High frequency coherent scattering radar is an important equipment for monitoring the polar ionospheric convection at Zhongshan station, Antarctica. Taking advantage of the high geomagnetic latitude of Zhongshan station, it covers a gap of the international SuperDARN (super twin auroral radar network) in the Antarctic optical belt, which will expand the observation range of the polar ionosphere in China from the polar gap region to a larger range, so that China can play a role in the polar ionospheric convection observation Important role. The construction of the computer room and the installation of the antenna array were completed in March 2010, and the installation and commissioning of the equipment were completed in April 2010. The antenna array of high frequency radar is composed of main antenna array and auxiliary antenna array. The main antenna array is composed of 16 horizontal polarization log periodic antennas, which are used for transmitting and receiving; the secondary antenna array is composed of four identical log periodic antennas, which only receive but not transmit. High frequency radar transceiver system and control equipment are composed of 16 power amplifiers and transmitters, 2 dual channel digital receivers, 2 phase shift matrices, control system, computer and peripheral equipment, analysis and processing system, etc.
