High frequency coherent scattering radar is used to monitor non-uniform bodies and their movements in the polar ionosphere field. The main detection parameters include radar echo intensity, ionospheric convective velocity, and velocity spectrum broadening. This dataset is high-frequency coherent radar data from Zhongshan Station, Antarctica, China in 2014. The high-frequency coherent scattering radar is an important equipment for monitoring ionospheric convection in the polar region at Zhongshan Station in Antarctica. Taking advantage of the high magnetic latitude of Zhongshan Station, it covers a gap in the Antarctic light band of the International SuperDARN (Super Gemini Auroral Radar Network), which will expand the observation range of China's polar ionosphere from the polar gap area to a larger range, making China play an important role in observing ionospheric convection in the polar region. The construction of the equipment room and installation of the antenna array for the high-frequency coherent scattering radar at Zhongshan Station were completed in early March 2010. The equipment installation and commissioning were completed and trial operation began in April 2010. The high-frequency radar antenna array is composed of two antenna arrays, the main antenna array and the secondary antenna array. The main antenna array is composed of 16 horizontally polarized logarithmic periodic antennas, which are shared for transmission and reception; The sub antenna array consists of four identical logarithmic periodic antennas, which only receive but not transmit.
