China Science and Technology Cloud Construction Project and China Science and Technology Cloud Regional Center 2023 Mid-Year Exchange Seminar was held successfully in Zhangye, Gansu recently. Chu Dawei, Executive Deputy Director of the Office of Net Information of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xie Gaogang, Director of the Computer Network Information Center and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, experts of the project supervision and personnel of the 12 regional centers of China Science and Technology Cloud, totaling more than 60 people attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the person in charge of each topic of China Science and Technology Cloud Construction Project (Phase III) reported the progress of work in the first half of the year, and the supervising experts put forward their opinions and suggestions on the construction of the project. Participants discussed topics around the demand, core content and organization of the new generation of scientific research information infrastructure platform construction that is being promoted.

It was pointed out that China Science and Technology Cloud should respond positively to the requirement of "deploying a new type of scientific research information infrastructure platform in advance", accelerate the work and improve the operation and service capacity. In the future, it is hoped that the General Center and the 12 regional centers will strengthen collaboration, coalesce as a whole, and make concerted efforts to build, operate and serve China Science and Technology Cloud well, so as to provide substantial support for the major scientific and technological innovation activities of the whole academy.
