This data set takes Maowusu Sandy Land, Hunshandake Sandy Land, Horqin Sandy Land and Hulunbeier Sandy Land as the survey area, with a total of 291 survey points in 2017-2021. Focus on investigating vegetation types such as evergreen coniferous forest, deciduous broad-leaved forest, deciduous small leaved sparse forest, evergreen coniferous shrub, deciduous broad-leaved shrub, shrub grassland, and weed grassland distributed in the research area. The main vegetation formations surveyed amounted to over 50 species, among which the main tree formations include Baiqian Forest, Elm Sparse Forest, Camphor Pine Forest, Betula platyphylla Forest, etc. The shrub formations include Fork Juniper Shrubs, Long stemmed Almond Shrubs, Small leaved Caragana Shrubs, Artemisia Salina Shrubs, etc. The main herbaceous formations include Silver Grey Convolvulus Grassland, Long Manger Grassland, Sand Peng Grassland, Sand Whip Grassland, Achnatherum splendens Grassland, etc. The complete plant morphology image includes organs such as roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds, mainly consisting of trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants distributed in the research area. Focus on capturing morphological images of endangered and protected plants in the survey area, as well as plants in their flowering or fruiting stages. In order to better identify the morphological characteristics of semi-arid desert vegetation in the research area and lay the foundation for writing a semi-arid desert plant atlas in the future

Desert plant roots (roots exposed by wind erosion), stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds (seeds), physical specimens, photos of the vertical and horizontal structures of plant communities. The principle of plant image shooting is to select a complete plant and not select plants with diseases or unhealthy conditions.
(1) Image shooting: Capture the morphological characteristics of reproductive, nutritional, and reproductive organs such as roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds p>
(2) Image organization: Organize and save plant images to remove blurry and duplicate images p>
(3) Image naming: The naming method adopts "plant name+organ+plot number"
