This dataset includes the monthly average observation data of O18 isotopes in carbon dioxide sampled from the global atmospheric background observatory in Waliguan, China from 1990 to 2012. The WMO/GAW is responsible for coordinating the systematic observation and analysis of greenhouse gases and trace components. As of the end of 2013, it has included 29 global background stations, over 400 regional background stations, and over 100 contribution stations. The four atmospheric background stations of the China Meteorological Administration (Waliguan in Qinghai, Shangdianzi in Beijing, Lin'an in Zhejiang, and Longfeng Mountain in Heilongjiang) have been included in the WMO/GAW atmospheric background station series, and a preliminary observation and analysis system and calibration system that is in line with international standards have been established. Some observational data from Waliguan Station in Qinghai Province and Shangdianzi Station in Beijing have been entered into the greenhouse gas World Data Center and global database, used in the global greenhouse gas bulletin, and used in many scientific assessments such as WMO, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), etc P>
