In 2020, the National Scientific Data Center for Glacier, Frozen Soil and Desert supported 10 open funds focusing on the preparation of thematic data on snow cover in glaciers, frozen soil and desert, data production and technology, data fusion and integration method research, etc. The output data mainly includes snow depth in Xinjiang, surface elevation change and surface movement speed of glaciers in the Karakoram Basin, glacier streamline in the Tibetan Plateau, and spatial distribution of albedo in the melting period of glaciers in the Altay Mount Taishan Basin.
