& emsp; This dataset is based on Landsat data from 1990 to 2019, using feature matching method to obtain the surface motion velocity of glaciers in the Hongzha River Basin of the Karakoram Mountains region. The surface motion velocity of glaciers in the Hongzha River Basin showed heterogeneity from 1990 to 2019. This dataset provides basic data for research on glacier changes and glacier disasters in the Karakoram Mountains region.

                     <pre><code>                                                                                                                         &lt;p&gt;&amp;emsp; Landsat Images Download from the websites of the United States Geological Survey (https://www.usgs.gov/) and Geospatial Data Cloud (http://www.gscloud.cn/).

Data processing method

                     <pre><code>                                                                                                                         &lt;p&gt;&amp;emsp; Surface velocities estimated from Landsat OLI images, by utilizing cross-correlation feature tracking techniques. This application were processed on COSI-Corr (Co-registration of Optically Sensed Images and Correlation), an IDL module for the remote sensing platform ENVI.

Data quality description

                         <pre><code>                                                                                                                                                                          &lt;p&gt;&amp;emsp;the displacement in non-glaciated regions ranged from 0.02 to 1.0 m/d.
