This dataset is provided by the National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station of Debris Flow in Dongchuan, Yunnan. It includes comprehensive observational data on the Jiangjiagou debris flow in Dongchuan, Yunnan, recorded in 2025. The dataset covers three debris flow events, including kinematic parameters, as well as physical and mechanical properties such as grain-size distribution, yield stress, and slurry viscosity. In addition, the dataset contains microseismic monitoring data, channel cross-section elevation measurements, and real-time video footage of debris flows.
Beyond debris-flow-specific data, the dataset also includes meteorological data, minute-resolution rainfall records, and soil moisture and temperature data. These data support in-depth research into the initiation, transport, and deposition processes of debris flows, and can be used to validate numerical models. They also provide robust data support for practical applications including debris flow monitoring, early warning, and risk management.
