Waliguan atmospheric background reference Observatory is jointly invested and constructed by the Chinese government and the global environment facility, and operated and managed by the China Meteorological Administration. According to the 2014 China greenhouse gas bulletin, the annual average concentrations of three major greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide) in the atmosphere of Waliguan Global Atmospheric Background Station in 2014 increased to 398.7ppm, 1893ppb and 327.9ppb, respectively, higher than the global average of the same period, but lower than the northern half The average concentration in the mid latitude area is about the same, which is the highest since the establishment of the station in 1990.
