This data is sourced from the "Vegetation Map of the People's Republic of China (1:1 000 000)", which was developed in 1983, completed in 2004, and released in digital format in 2007. The map includes 60 sections across the country, totaling 11 vegetation type groups and 54 vegetation types, reflecting the distribution patterns and zonation of different dominant vegetation groups. The Qilian Mountains region involves a total of 8 sectional maps, including I46, I47, I48, J46, J47, J48, K46, and K47. The vector data of Vegetation Map of the People's Republic of China (1:1 000 000) is from the Resources and Environment Data Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences( http://www.resdc.cn/data.aspx?DATAID=122 ).
Based on the vector data of the Vegetation Map of the People's Republic of China (1:1 000 000), the vegetation distribution data in the Qilian Mountains area was obtained by cropping and field adjustment using the vector boundary of the Qilian Mountains region.
