This data is a restoration of the distribution of the main ancient irrigation channels in the middle and upper reaches of the Heihe river basin from the Ming dynasty period to the Republican period, based on the Re-publication of ganzhen records, revision of new records of Suzhou and Ganzhou Prefecture records and combined with topographical maps and images from the 1960s.
It is provided in ArcGIS software Shapefile format, using the GCS Krasovsky 1940 coordinate system with a Transverse Mercator projection grid. The data type is a line vector with attributes such as name, source, length and irrigated area.
