This data set is for Mt. Qomolangma. The GPS (Global Positioning System) control point joint survey data set includes the serial number, longitude, latitude and elevation of the control points. The data set contains 1024 records, which are mainly obtained by purchasing the national first-class control points in the region, using the national first-class control points for static measurement, and obtaining the glacier area control points by solving for more than 1 hour; and obtaining the dynamic joint measurement through DGPS (differential global position system) RTK (real-time kinematic). The data set is only for the non glacier / glacier surface elevation in 2015, which is fully open and shared. In the data set, longitude, unit degree (°), latitude, unit degree (°), elevation, that is, the glacier surface elevation in the current year, unit meter (m).

This data set is mainly measured data, and the main data sources are static measurement of national first-class control points and dynamic joint measurement of DGPS RTK.
In the data measurement, the static measurement of the national first-class control points is carried out, and the post differential GPS adopts mobile Mapper10 handheld GPS as receiver, E640 high-precision static GPS as base station, placed in stable terrain area, record data with handheld GPS at the same time, and then the collected data are post differential processed in post-processing software; real time dynamic difference is measured by Starfire 3050 differential GPS of China united strength company, and the measurement process is standardized and standardized, and strictly reviewed.
4-6 stations of China Survey X20 or T5 GNSS are used for joint survey, the synchronous measurement time is more than 1 hour, and 1-3 national control points are used for joint survey; the result calculation accuracy is controlled within 2cm
