This glacier catalogue is supported by International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and United National Environment Program / regional resource centre, Asia and the Pacific (UNEP / rrc-ap).

1. According to the remote sensing data of Landsat 4 / 5 (MSS, TM 1982 / 1985 / 1984 / 1999), Landsat 7 (ETM +), irs-1c, liss-iii (irs-1c, 1995) and (irs-1d, 1997), the glacier catalogue reflects the current situation of glacial lakes in 2000.
