This glacier catalogue is supported by International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and United National Environment Program / regional resource centre, Asia and the Pacific (UNEP / rrc-ap).

1. The glacier catalogues refer to Landsat 4 / 5 (MSS, TM / 1984 / 1999), Landsat 7 (TM & ETM +), irs-1c, liss-iii (1995 irs-1c) and (1997 irs-1d) remote sensing data, reflecting the glacier status in 2003.

2. Glacier cover: Tista basin, Sikkim area

3. Glacier cataloguing includes: Glacier location, glacier code, glacier name, glacier area, glacier length, glacier thickness, ice reserves, glacier type, glacier orientation and other attributes
