In February 2014, seawater samples were collected from 10 stations near Great Wall Bay and adelei bay at Great Wall Station, Antarctica. The filtered water samples were analyzed by downer analyzer to obtain chlorophyll data. The purpose of studying the chlorophyll content in seawater is to grasp the distribution index of basic production of marine resources. Chlorophyll is a kind of green pigment contained in higher plants and all other photosynthetic organisms. Chlorophyll is divided into chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, chlorophyll C, chlorophyll d, chlorophyll F, protochlorophyll and bacterial chlorophyll.
