The UNMIX model is a mathematical receptor model developed by scientists from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It provides scientific support for the development and review of air and water quality standards, exposure studies and environmental forensics. UNMIX can analyze a wide range of environmental sample data: sediment, wet deposition, surface water, ambient air and indoor air.

3D focal mechanisms is an observation tool for 3D focal mechanism symbols. The tool runs in ArcScene 9. X, a geographic information system software of ESRI. The program needs to input a GIS point data set of earthquake location, which contains the strike, tilt and tilt values of node plane of each earthquake. Other information, such as the depth and magnitude of the earthquake, may also be included in the dataset.

Winston is a Java based seismic wave server, which provides data and drawing to the client. The code is open source and is provided free of charge.
