The purpose of snow density observation in the intensive observation area of Binggou basin on December 6, 2007 and December 10, 2007 is to investigate the snow stratification information in this area, obtain the snow density in this area, and provide a reliable data set for remote sensing inversion and model.
Observation contents include:
1) Snow layered density observation: the observation method is snow shovel weighing method. The pre-test adopts the layered density measurement at an interval of 10cm, one layer within 10cm and more than 10cm.
2) In addition to the density, it also includes the measurement of snow depth and snow temperature, snow soil interface temperature and snow particle size of bg-a. It was measured at bg-a on December 6, 2007 and at bg-b, bg-c and bg-d sample plots on December 10, 2007. The data set includes original data and preprocessed data, and includes the following auxiliary information: GPS points, snow shovel calibration data.
