This study consists of three parts.
1) In order to observe the bidirectional reflection characteristics of snow, multi angle snow spectrum observation (measured by the multi angle observation frame developed by Beijing Normal University) was carried out in the intensive observation area of Binggou basin on March 23, 2008. The observation time was 10:50-13:50 Beijing time (BJT) on March 23, 2008;
2) In order to study the variation characteristics of albedo with solar altitude angle, snow albedo observation (total radiometer) was carried out synchronously. The observation time was 10:00-14:36 Beijing time (BJT) on March 23, 2008;
3) Observation of snow surface spectral characteristics (measured by ASD spectrometer of Xinjiang Meteorological Bureau).
The above measurements are made in a relatively flat open space next to the hydrological section of Binggou small watershed. The data set includes two folders: original data and preprocessed data.

On March 23, 2008, a relatively flat open space beside the hydrological section of Binggou small watershed was measured, which provides a basic data set for snow remote sensing parameter inversion.
