Based on the typical grassland and Hailar grazing sample land in Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this data set is divided into three grazing intensities: light grazing, medium grazing and heavy grazing, so as to obtain the investigation data of soil microbial biomass in various lands. This experiment provides basic data for studying the effect of grazing on grassland soil microbial biomass.
Attribute information includes MBC (soil microbial biomass carbon) and MBN (soil microbial biomass nitrogen).

The sampling points of each grassland type are spaced at an interval of about 50 km. The sampling points are randomly selected from the open terrain, and the soil samples are obtained according to the soil depth of 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm and 20-30 cm.
Chloroform fumigation method was used to determine soil microbial biomass carbon and soil microbial biomass nitrogen.
The error is within the allowable range of ecological experiment, and the data is relatively accurate.
