This dataset is the observation data set of the underlying surface of the Xindian Gou watershed in the first sub area of the loess hilly and gully region in 2024. This dataset is based on the remote sensing images of the "Gaofen-1" satellite in 2024. ArcGIS software is used for remote sensing image interpretation, supplemented by field investigations to verify and correct the attributes and boundaries of the interpreted patches one by one. This dataset includes a table of land use status in the Xindian Gou watershed, a thematic map of land use in the Xindian Gou watershed, and a survey report on underlying surfaces

Field survey, image interpretation
Based on the fusion remote sensing image with spatial resolution of 2m, combined with the remote sensing image interpretation marks established by field investigation, the land use types such as dam land and terrace in the basin are extracted by manual visual interpretation using ArcGIS software platform.
