In this data set during 2017-2020, Bayinchaoge Tugacha, Barunbieli Town, Alxa Left Banner, Inner Mongolia, selected the typical degraded red sand-Cryptophora serrata grazing grassland as the test plot. The total sample area is 3345 acres, and the research on degraded grassland enclosure restoration, regeneration and restoration and sustainable utilization technology will be carried out.

In April 2017, 1953 acres of grassland was selected, with livestock camps as the center, divided into 9 communities, with the length of livestock intervention time (that is, the number of rotation days of 2 days, 8 days, and 11 days) as the processing factors, and three Treatment (see Table 1), each treatment has 3 replicates, each plot area is 200 mu, and at the same time, a 50m × 50m enclosed small plot (marked as W1-W9) is set up in each plot as an enclosure treatment ; Controls are set outside the enclosed small plots, marked as Z1-Z9 respectively. The interval period of repeated grazing interventions in each plot (grazing rotation period) is 90 days, and the remaining 1392 mu of grassland outside the treatment plot is used as a buffer zone. In conjunction with the grazing rotation period, each grazing period is 29-31 days. The grazing intensity is calculated based on the local recommended stocking capacity of 40 mu/sheep unit/year, and 70 sheep per community. The number of plant species, number of plants, height and coverage, the proportion of new branches of shrubs, and the proportion of reproductive branches of grasses are monitored in each treatment plot. Soil monitoring indicators are bulk density, organic carbon, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus. On the remaining 1392 acres of grassland, with the livestock pen of the pasture as the center, choose to set three 100 m × 100 m plots at a distance of 50 m, 500 m, and 1000 m from the livestock pen according to the impact of grazing on vegetation: heavy Grazing (T1), moderate grazing (T2) and light grazing (T3), it is planned to carry out research on the influence of different grazing intensity on grassland vegetation and soil physical and chemical properties. Investigate the number of species, plant numbers, vegetation height and coverage of herbaceous plants; determine the aboveground and underground biomass of vegetation; analyze soil organic carbon, soil total nitrogen, soil total phosphorus and other indicators.

 (1) Plant height: measuring with tape measure
(2) Vegetation coverage and number of plants: artificial estimation of sample plots
(3) Biomass: drying and weighing

The data are more accurate and meet the accuracy requirements.
