The source area of the Yellow River is an important water conservation region, with water conservation accounting for about 38% of the total runoff. The alpine grassland is the most important vegetation type in the Yellow River source area. In 2005, the Maqu Observatory was established in the Maqu grassland of the Yellow River source area to monitor climate and hydrological conditions and their evolution. This dataset consists of 10 years of observation data from Maqu Station, covering the period from 2010 to 2019, including meteorological elements, radiation, energy exchange, and soil water and heat transfer characteristics data.

This data set is the observation data of Maqu Alpine Grassland Observation Site of Zoige Plateau Wetland Ecosystem Research Station, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main observation equipment includes vorticity related observation systems (CSAT3, Li-7500, EC150), meteorological element observation equipment (HMP45C, CNR1, PTB110, TE525MM, 52202) and soil observation equipment (CS109, CS616).
The scanning frequency of the vorticity related observation system is 10Hz, and the raw data is processed using EddyPro 6.0 (Li Co) software with an average time of 30 minutes.
The data quality is good.
