The Glacier Resources and Change Survey in China is a national science and technology basic work project (2006FY110200) supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The project is undertaken by the Institute of Environment and Engineering in Cold and Dry Regions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the main participants are the Institute of Environment and Engineering in Cold and Dry Regions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Geography and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Qinghai Tibet Plateau Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Lanzhou University, Ministry of Education. The project started in 2006 and ended in 2011. In order to make the data achievements more widely applicable, after the project is completed, the data achievements will be shared.
