Datasets description

 The Qaidam Basin is located in the northwest of Qinghai Province and the northeast of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. It is mainly distributed in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, with an area of about 240000 square kilometers. It is one of the three major inland basins in China, and belongs to a huge closed intermountain fault basin. This data represents the geographical scope of Qaidam Basin, and the data set is mainly used for map making and research area clipping.
