<p>The data include the rainfall in Qilian station in the upper reaches of Heihe River Basin from May 2012 to June 2013 and the content of silica in soil water of hulugou small watershed. It contains an excel table, and the data includes two tables of rainfall and soil water. The sampling point is located in hulugou small watershed ecological hydrological experimental research station of Institute of cold and drought, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the soil water sampling point is about 300m above the No.2 meteorological station of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main monitoring indicators were precipitation: serial number, sampling location, geographical coordinates, rainfall time, Si (mg / L); soil water: serial number, sampling point location, geographical coordinates, sampling time, Si (mg / L).

<p>Self monitoring (instrument monitoring)</p>
<p>The sample test method is to use hash DR2800 ultraviolet spectrophotometer to test the rain water obtained from the rain gauge and the soil water collected from the sampling point. </p>
