This dataset comprehensively integrates the detailed geographic information of all townships under the county-level administrative divisions of the Chaohu Lake Basin, the Chu River Basin, the Lishiahe River area, and the Yangtze River Delta Demonstration Area. By integrating high-resolution remote sensing images, geographic information system (GIS) analysis, and official administrative division data, the administrative boundaries, geographic locations, and area sizes of the townships are accurately mapped. This information is highly valuable for local governments to carry out refined management, promote rural revitalization, optimize resource allocation, promote regional economic integration and strengthen ecological environmental protection.
This dataset provides comprehensive and accurate data to support the formulation of scientific and rational regional development plans, enhance the effectiveness of social governance, and promote the sustainable development of the watershed and the demonstration area.

The core building blocks of the dataset are derived from national and provincial and municipal databases of officially released administrative divisions.
(1) Based on the administrative division code, data from different sources are compared and integrated to ensure that the information of each county administrative unit is complete and unique. The boundary coordinates of county administrative units and township administrative units are corrected and optimized to ensure the accuracy and continuity of the boundaries.
(2) Integrate the county-level administrative unit and township administrative unit data of the Chaohu Lake Basin, the Chu River Basin, the Lishiahe River area, and the Yangtze River Delta Demonstration Area into a unified dataset. Add necessary metadata to the dataset, such as information on data sources, data update time, and data processing methods.
(3) Conduct quality checks on the integrated dataset, including data completeness, accuracy, consistency and other aspects. Ensure that the name, administrative division code, boundary coordinates and other information of each county administrative unit are accurate.
(4) Use Geographic Information System (GIS) software to spatially calibrate the data to ensure that the boundaries of the county-level administrative units match the actual situation.
(5) Based on the processed data, produce county-level administrative division maps.
This dataset comprehensively and accurately covers all county-level administrative divisions and township administrative divisions in the Chaohu Lake Basin, the Chu River Basin, the Lishiahe River area, and the Yangtze River Delta Demonstration Area, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and high precision of the data. In terms of data generation, authoritative data sources are used, including the latest administrative division data released by national and local statistical bureaus, geographic information bureaus and other official organizations.
These data are strictly screened and audited to ensure the authority and accuracy of the data. A combination of online map services, specialized GIS data sources, and field research are used to validate and supplement the data in order to further enhance the accuracy and completeness of the data.
