This atlas takes the Horqin Sandy Land, Hulunbeier Sandy Land and Maowusu Sandy Land in the farming pastoral ecotone of northern China as the core, and uses the DJI phantom 4 to take vertical and downward continuous photographs of typical desert and sand fixing plant communities, and finally integrates them into about 100 m × A centimeter level orthophoto image of a plant community at a height of 100 meters, with established or dominant species including: Achnatherum splendens, Leymus chinensis, Wolf needle grass, Caragana korshinskii, Sarcandra sargentiana, Tetrandra sinensis, Salt claw, Ulmus pumila, Stipa arundinacea, etc.

Low altitude aerial photography of plant communities.
Select a typical desert plant community with a relatively uniform landscape, and plan a drone operation target area in the DJI flight control application in Xinjiang. Set a heading overlap rate of 85% and a lateral overlap rate of 80%, with a flight altitude of 20 meters relative to the takeoff point. The drone will collect photos along the route and return. Import all aerial photos collected from a single operation target area into software such as Agisoft PhotoScan and DJITU for 2D visible light reconstruction.
The data quality is good.
