This data set is the survey data of underlying surface of Nanxiaohegou watershed in Loess Plateau Gully Region. The survey method is based on the topographic map, manually check the drawing spots and then conduct on-site verification. The survey contents include the basic situation survey of the basin, the basic data survey of underlying surface, the investigation of soil and water conservation control measures (the area of plant measures and the area of engineering measures), and the investigation of point projects of soil and water conservation (gully head protection, valley, water cellar, waterlogging pool, key ditch control works, and water supply engineering), with a total of 17 items and 31 small items.)

Manual investigation
Map patches were drawn on the 1:10000 topographic map of Nanxiaohegou watershed, and as the smallest statistical unit, field verification was carried out on each plot according to the quantity, quality and scope of watershed management.
In the process of data compilation and input, there are four levels of manual verification, including tabulation, primary proofreading, rechecking and auditing, so as to ensure the data quality.
