This dataset contains statistical data on forestry environment in various regions of Gansu Province from 2002 to 2022, including afforestation situation in Gansu Province, afforestation situation in different regions and counties, protection of wild animals and plants in the forestry system and natural reserves in Gansu Province, forest resources situation in Gansu Province, natural forest resource protection situation in Gansu Province, and construction of returning farmland to forests in Gansu Province.
Among them, the afforestation situation in different counties and districts mainly includes artificial afforestation, aerial seeding afforestation without forest land, and sparse forest land newly closed for afforestation.
The situation of wildlife conservation and nature reserves mainly includes the number of wildlife epidemic monitoring stations, the number of employees engaged in wildlife conservation, and the amount of investment completed in wildlife conservation.
The situation of forest resources mainly includes the area of forestry land, forest area, forest coverage rate, and total stock of standing trees.
The protection of natural forest resources mainly includes wood production, forestry investment completion, forest management and protection area, etc.
The construction of returning farmland to forests mainly includes the afforestation area of the current year and the afforestation area of the returned farmland.
The data on afforestation, wildlife conservation, and nature reserves in Gansu Province are sourced from the China Forestry and Grassland Statistical Yearbook; The data on forest resources and the construction of returning farmland to forests are sourced from the "China Environmental Statistical Yearbook" and "China Statistical Yearbook".
