The data set is the first 1:100000 desert spatial database in China, which is based on the graph data of desert thematic map. It mainly reflects the geographical distribution, area size, mobility and fixation degree of deserts in China. According to the system design requirements and relevant standards, the input data shall be standardized and converted into the standard format of all kinds of data input. Build the database to deliver the system to run.
In this project, TM image in 2000 is used as the information source to interpret, extract and edit the coverage and 2000 TM digital image information of the national land use status map. In combination with remote sensing and geographic information system technology, and according to the mapping requirements of 1:100000 scale thematic map, thematic mapping of sand, sand and Gravel Gobi in China is carried out. The 1:100000 national desert map can save a lot of data input and editing when users are engaged in the research of resources and environment. Digital map can be easily transformed into layout map

4: File format: the data types of national, provincial and county-level desert map are vector ShapeFile and E00
5: File naming: Based on the data organization of the national basic resources and environment remote sensing dynamic information service system, it is carried out at the file management level of Windows NT. The file and directory names adopt the compound names of English words and numbers. The provincial desert map is composed of the provincial and district name Pinyin + SM. For example, the desert distribution map of Gansu Province is GSSM. The desert map of flag and county is the Pinyin of province name + XXXX, XXXX is the last four digits of the code of flag and county, for example, the desert map of Lanzhou is named gs0101. The segmentation of provinces, districts, banners and counties is based on the administrative division data files in the national basic resources and environment remote sensing dynamic information service operation system.
