The project consists of six topics, the first of which is the water resource security status and risk assessment in the northwest inland region, undertaken by the China Academy of Water Resources and Hydropower Research; The second topic is multi-scale water cycle processes and system simulations in the northwest inland region under changing environments, undertaken by Northwest University; The third project is the experiment and demonstration of key technologies for the development and utilization of multiple water sources, undertaken by Tsinghua University; The fourth topic is the integration and application of water conservation and water-saving technologies in the northwest inland area, which is undertaken by Shihezi University; The fifth topic is the integrated demonstration of key technologies for water resource regulation in desert oasis ecological protection, undertaken by the Northwest Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; The sixth topic is the multi-dimensional collaborative allocation and safety guarantee system of water resources in the northwest inland region, undertaken by Yellow River Survey, Planning and Design Co., Ltd.
