Under the background of global warming, the change trend, amplitude, variability and periodicity of regional precipitation will be different. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a typical area with changeable climate environment and frequent natural disasters in the "one road and one belt" initiative. Affected by the weakening Indian Ocean monsoon and strengthened westerly wind, the precipitation has spatial-temporal variability. This data set provides basic information for understanding the spatial-temporal change and trend evolution of precipitation in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor region.
Based on the CRU global grid data, this data set has prepared a total of 1654 GeoTIFF files of precipitation in China Pakistan Economic Corridor region from 1901 to 2018. The precipitation unit is mm, the spatial resolution is 0.5 ° x 0.5 ° and the temporal resolution is month, year and years (1901-2018).

Four types of spatial data sets of air temperature were generated by format conversion, regional clipping and statistical analysis
(1) The minimum and maximum precipitation from 1901 to 2018 produce CPEC respectively_ all_ pre_ max.tif And CPEC_ all_ pre_ min.tif Two data files
(2) Take the mean value of monthly precipitation to form the annual precipitation, named as CPEC_ YYYY_ pre.tif ;
(3) According to the sum of monthly precipitation, the annual total precipitation is formed, named as CPEC_ YYYY_ pre_ total.tif
(4) The name of monthly precipitation is CPEC_ YYYYMM_ pre.tif Where yyyy four digits identify the year mm two digits identify the month.
The spatial and temporal accuracy of this data set is consistent with the original CRU data, and the quality is good. It is suitable for climate change research and environmental evolution analysis.
