In this data set, we use DEM of topographic map, SRTM (2000) and DEM extracted from remote sensing image to obtain the surface elevation changes of glacier in the center of glaciation through difference calculation. It only aims at the change of glacier surface elevation in the area of Mt. georgeri from 1968 to 2013, so it is not necessary to supplement and improve it, and fully open sharing is adopted. The dataset contains two bands, elevation changes 1968-2000 and elevationchange 2000-2013. Field measurement unit: meter (m). The data set is mainly extracted from remote sensing images and only represents the changes of glacier surface elevation at the time of remote sensing image acquisition. The time is 1968-2000 and 2000-2013.

This data set is mainly interpreted data. The main data sources are DEM of topographic map, SRTM (2000) and DEM extracted from remote sensing images.
Based on DEM of topographic maps, SRTM (2000) and DEM extracted from remote sensing images, the elevation change of glacier surface at the center of glaciation was obtained by difference calculation.
After checking the accuracy of DEM in different periods, we use the cosine relationship between slope aspect and elevation difference to carry out plane and elevation correction; then we use the relationship between maximum curvature and elevation difference to reduce the error caused by different resolutions, carry out registration and relative accuracy evaluation on the two periods of DEM, and get the glacier elevation changes in different periods.
