Community land model is the land model of cesm (community earth system model). This is a collaborative project between the Earth Sciences, climate and global dynamics departments at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), as well as the cesm land model and biochemistry working group. Other working groups, such as chemical climate and land ice, have also contributed to CML. The model formalizes and quantifies the concept of ecoclimatology to understand the impact of natural and human changes on climate. The circulation of energy, water, chemical elements and gases in terrestrial ecosystems plays a decisive role in climate change. The model reflects several aspects of surface heterogeneity, including components or sub models related to terrestrial Biogeophysics, hydrological cycle, biogeochemistry, human dimension and ecosystem dynamics.

ARPS model is a non-static equilibrium regional forecast system developed by the storm analysis and Prediction Center of the University of Oklahoma. ARPS model adopts generalized terrain coordinate system, arakawa-c staggered horizontal grid and second-order leapfrog leaping time integration scheme, including cloud microphysical process, sub grid scale turbulence and other physical processes. ARPS model is suitable for small and medium-sized and storm scale weather systems, such as tornado, supercell storm, etc. ARPS model is mainly aimed at non energetic high-resolution regional forecast system of storm scale, including variational assimilation of real-time data, forward prediction and post-processing module.

Winston is a Java based seismic wave server, which provides data and drawing to the client. The code is open source and is provided free of charge.

The soil water balance (SWB) model is used to calculate the spatial and temporal variations of groundwater recharge. The SWB model calculates replenishment by combining common geographic information system (GIS) data layers with tabular climate data.

The common land surface model was developed by scientists interested in land model for public use and further development. The main characteristics of the model include sufficient non-uniform interlayer to fully represent soil temperature and soil moisture, and multi-layer parameterization of snow process; clear treatment of liquid water and ice water quality in snow soil system; runoff parameterization under the concept of topmeod; a canopy photosynthetic conductivity model, which describes the simultaneous transfer of carbon dioxide and water vapor in plants; and a model of canopy photosynthesis conductivity; The sub grid fraction of energy and water balance is tiled. CLM has been widely evaluated in offline mode and coupled with the NCAR community climate model (CCM3).

Unsoda v2.0 is a database of unsaturated soil hydraulic properties completed by the U.S. geotechnical office in 1999. It collects the data of soil physical properties such as water characteristic curve, hydraulic conductivity and soil water dispersion, particle size distribution, bulk density and organic matter content of 11 different texture soils from sandy soil to clay.
