The frozen soil excess ice and methane module is developed in Fortran 90/95 language. It is activated based on conditional compilation and supports Intel Fortran and MPI parallel computing environments. The excess ice module introduces excess ice as an independent state variable in the soil stratification, couples the thermodynamic process through heat capacity and thermal conductivity calculations to realize dynamic adjustment of layer thickness and diagnosis of surface subsidence, and feeds back the amount of water generated by melting to the hydrological cycle; The methane module simulates three emission pathways: methane production, oxidation and diffusion, plant-mediated transport and bubbling. Conventional offline land surface simulation, land-atmosphere, and land-atmosphere fully coupled simulation can be opened to carry out numerical simulation experiments.
