This dataset includes the online observation daily statistical data of sulfur dioxide at the Shangdianzi Atmospheric Background Station in Beijing, China from January 17, 2004 to December 31, 2005. It can represent the background status of sulfur dioxide in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region during the same period. The dataset has undergone strict quality control, and statistical variables include daily average, median, standard deviation, sample number, daily maximum, and daily minimum of sulfur dioxide
