This dataset contains precipitation observation data from the Qiaogou Basin rainfall station in 2023. The Qiaogou watershed is located in Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, and is a first level tributary of Peijiamaogou (a first level tributary of Wuding River). There are four rainfall stations in the Qiaogou watershed, namely Qiaogou 1, Qiaogou 2, Qiaogou 3, and Qiaogou 5. DSJ2 siphon type self recording rain gauges and SM1 ordinary rain gauges with a diameter of 20cm are used for parallel observation. When the self recording rain gauges fail, ordinary rain gauges are used instead. The data includes the layout map of the watershed station network, daily precipitation table, precipitation extraction table, and maximum precipitation table for each period. Continuous observation by instrument and regular observation manually p>
Precipitation observation instruments include DSJ2 siphon self recording rain gauge and SM1 ordinary rain gauge with a diameter of 20cm. The DSJ2 self recording rain gauge adopts the 24 segment system for flood season observation, and the SM1 ordinary rain gauge adopts the 8:00 and 20:00 two segment system for annual observation. In case of failure of the self recording rain gauge, the observation data of the ordinary rain gauge shall be used for supplement. The starting and ending time of precipitation is mainly observed, and the precipitation is counted. When the interval time of precipitation is more than 15min, it is observed as two times of precipitation before and after the interval time. When the interval time is less than 15min, it is recorded as a precipitation observation. If a precipitation exceeds 8 and 20 hours, it should be added at 8 and 20 hours
The recording rain gauge shall be calibrated before the start of observation every year. In the process of data entry, there are four levels of manual verification: tabulation, initial verification, re verification, and audit to ensure data quality
