This dataset contains precipitation observation data from the Jiuyuangou watershed rainfall station in 2023. The Jiuyuangou watershed is located in Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, and is a first level tributary of the Wuding River. The rainfall station focuses on observing the precipitation during the flood season (June September) on the basis of observing the annual precipitation. Nine rainfall stations have been set up in the Jiuyuangou watershed, including Goukou, Maliangou, Zhaojiagou, Wujiapan, Weijiayan, Heijiagou, Wangjiagou, Wangmaozhuang, and Caijiagou. Use DSJ2 siphon type self recording rain gauge and SM1 type ordinary rain gauge with a diameter of 20cm for parallel observation, and replace them with ordinary rain gauges when the self recording rain gauge malfunctions. The data includes the layout map of the watershed station network, daily precipitation table, precipitation extraction table, and maximum precipitation table for each period. Continuous observation by instrument and regular observation manually
<p>There are SM1 rain gauge with diameter of 20cm and dsj2 siphon self recording rain gauge. SM1 adopts 8:00 and 20:00 two-stage system for annual observation, mainly observing the beginning and ending time of precipitation, and counting the precipitation. When the intermittent time of precipitation is more than 15 min, it is observed as two precipitation before and after the interval. When the intermittent time is less than 15 min, it is regarded as a precipitation observation record. If a precipitation crosses 8:00 and 20:00, it should be measured at 8:00 and 20:00. Dsj2 adopts 24 segment system for flood season observation. In case of failure of self recording rain gauge, the observation data of ordinary rain gauge are supplemented. </p>
The recording rain gauge shall be calibrated before the start of observation every year. In the process of data entry, there are four levels of manual verification: tabulation, initial verification, re verification, and audit to ensure data quality
