This dataset consists of in-situ soil respiration observations from the Hulu catchment in the upper reaches of the Heihe River, spanning from April 2023 to April 2025. The underlying surface type is alpine grassland, located in a seasonally frozen soil region at an elevation of 3028 m. The dataset includes soil respiration time series with quality control and missing value imputation, along with synchronous measurements of 5 cm soil moisture and soil temperature. The temporal resolution is daily, and the observed variables are CO2-related parameters, encompassing total soil respiration, heterotrophic respiration, and net ecosystem carbon exchange.
