Datasets description

  This data set includes the raindrop spectrum data of different types of rainfall in the upstream test obtained by laser raindrop spectrometer (parsive), including the information of precipitation particle size and its falling end velocity. In addition, the corresponding X-band dual polarization radar parameters: differential reflectivity ZDR and differential propagation phase shift constant KDP can be calculated by using drop spectrum data.

  Sampling area of drop spectrometer: 5400mm ^ 2, diameter range of liquid particles: 0.2-5mm, diameter range of solid particles: 0.2-25mm.

  The observation site is a rou Township, Qilian County, Qinghai Province (n39.06 °, e100.44 °, 3002m); The observation time is from March 14, 2008 to April 14, 2008, and the sampling interval is 30 seconds.

Data processing method
