The isotherm, kinetics and thermodynamics were studied to find out the adsorption rate and adsorption capacity of the new manganese sand composite filter (MTZ) for removing iron and manganese ions; The static pH test was carried out to study the effect of pH change on the removal of iron and manganese ions, so as to provide preliminary feasibility data for the dynamic experiment and lay a foundation for the study of the mechanism of iron and manganese removal by the new manganese sand composite filter material (MTZ).

The study of isothermal adsorption characteristics is of great significance for the determination of saturated adsorption capacity of iron and manganese ions by new manganese sand composite filter media (MTZ) and the exploration of adsorption mechanism. This test adopts conical flask batch test. In order to ensure the rational use of the new manganese sand composite filter material (MTZ) and achieve adsorption saturation, it is necessary to determine the dosage of the new manganese sand composite filter material (MTZ). Take 7 250ml conical flasks and put 0.05g, 0.08g, 0.10g, 0.15g, 0.20g, 0.25g, 0.3g MTZ and 100ml waste liquid with iron ion concentration of 5mg/l and manganese ion concentration of 2mg/l into them. Shake them at 25 ℃ for 24h in a constant temperature water bath oscillator. Measure the iron and manganese ion concentration in the filtrate, calculate the iron and manganese ion removal rate, and determine the optimal dosage of MTZ.
Good data quality.
