With the Chu River basin as the object of study, combined with the Chu River incoming water and river level, and with the increase of reservoir storage, expansion of the river, elevation of the water level and other engineering measures in combination with each other to form a total of seven scenarios, and the use of the study of the establishment of the hydrodynamic model, corresponding to the calculation of the basin of different nodes of the excess flood volume (in billion m3).

The data used for the calculations were derived from hydrologic analysis calculations.
Calculated using the hydrodynamic model developed in this study.
The accuracy of the results of the relevant hydrological analyses has been verified, and the method of calculating the excess flood volume is a generalized method with reliability.
